Saw a copy of FACEFULL at the bookstore today and I just wanted to say the bastards never did send me even one free copy (let alone a years subscription) for winning their photo contest years ago. I emailed them on three different occasions and each time they acted more and more confused.

US Paintball League's 2009 Schedule
Introducing Your League's Western and Eastern Conferences
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA - January 28, 2009 - The US Paintball League's 2009
season will consist of six events. The season opener, the Surf City Open,
will take place on the beach in Huntington Beach, CA April 3 - 5, 2009.
The US Paintball League will offer Divisional teams three titles to compete
in; a Western Conference title, Eastern Conference title and the National
Series title. To win their Conference Title, teams will be able to earn
points in three events. To win the National Series, your team can play in
any of the six events with your top four scores counting towards the overall
Bart Yachimec of Edmonton Impact explained "we wanted to make sure teams who
couldn't afford to compete in all of the events still had a chance at
earning a championship by only having to travel to one event. Just the same,
teams who want to support the circuit by playing in most or all of the
events will be rewarded with the opportunity to swap out some of the
US Paintball League Commissioner Chuck Hendsch added that "By introducing
Conference play the league is looking to add excitement to the series race
and give teams a better chance at winning their conference title, a National
title or both."
All six dates of the 2009 US Paintball League are confirmed, with some
venues yet to be announced:
Surf City Open April 3 - 5, 2009 Huntington Beach, CA
DC Challenge May 15 - 17, 2009 Washington D.C
Bay City Open June 12 - 14, 2009 San Jose, CA
New England Classic July 31 - August 2, 2009 Boston, MA
West Coast Open August 28 - 30, 2009 Venue to be Announced
World Championships October 2 - 4, 2009 Venue to be Announced
Strict Union will be having another CXBL practice tryout at the Moncton sports dome on January 17, 2009 registration at 7pm game time 8pm to 12am.

there is going to be reball practice at the Moncton Dome on Dec 20 stay tuned for more details.
The APPL had the anual meeting on November the 9th at the Moncton sports dome. At the meeting some things that were discused were
1) number of games to play, 6 teams double round robin with finals at Atlantic cup. or 8 teams single round robin and finals at Atlantic cup.
2) time limit on games reducing to 15 min half times or increasing to 25 min half times.
3) mvp award going with awarding stars for each match and the one with the most stars at end of regualar season award a prize.
4)for 3 man lite upping the race to 9 points still 15 min game time.
other things were discused but these are some things that we would like some input on.
going to have a walk on big game at PAG on September 20 saturday for all those who just want to come out and have a fun filled day of paintball.
we will be playing in the woods, huts and some airball it will be a great time.
start time at 9am finish when all the paint is gone or the sun goes down.
$15 for the day this include air if you need rentals they are available for $10 more.
field paint only for $80 a case
there will be some door prizes given away and other draws as well ie: 50/50
pre register by the 12 an get your name in for a special draw.
the 3rd event for the APBL is in Kentville on July 12, 13
this is going to be an amazing event.
the 4th event and final event will be in Grand Falls, N.B.
August 9,and 10 everyone should try to come out and see this one, lots of close teams fighting for the finals.
there will be a 3 man open on the 20th of July in Woodstock at PAG entry fee will be $300 per team field paint at $80 a case, air will be supplied.

Storm Warning will be hosting a Reffing Clinic in conjunction with APBL and Mark Cleghorn.
APBL is dedicated to providing the Atlantic paintball players with fair,well organized league. In light of this, they have acquired Mark Cleghorn as Ultimate Reff for 2008 season. With Mark's experience we are confident that our reffing staff will be well trained, and very competant.
In order to provide you with the best possible reffing, there will be a clinic offered to anyone that enjoys being in the middle of the action,and making split second decisions.This clinic is open to everyone. If you rostered on an APBL team in the 2008 season, you will not be allowed to ref during that season.
